A new Landmark Bank location is being planned for McKinney, where Kris Beall will be a commercial lending officer and Kyle Beall – photo — its president. The brothers, natives of Collin County, honed their respective careers working with financial institutions in Dallas, Florida and Alabama before coming together and returning to the McKinney area over 15 years ago.
Stephanie McGary, loan assistant to the Bealls for over five years, also joined the bank as part of the team.
Boards & Organizations
Andrea Petro, executive vice president at Wells Fargo Capital Finance, is the president of the Commercial Finance Association. Petro has served on several CFA committees, including the board of the CFA Education Foundation. With more than 30 years of experience in the asset-based lending industry, Petro established Wells Fargo Capital Finance Lender Finance division in 2000, then known as Wells Fargo Foothill, and oversees the Dallas-based division’s daily operations today. Petro’s success with the lender finance division led to the expansion of her role and the formation of the resort finance and supply chain finance units. Prior to joining Foothill, Petro was senior vice president, national marketing manager of the Financial Services Funding Division of Transamerica Business Credit.
Brittany George, a senior manager in IT advisory services in the Dallas office of Weaver, is the new president of the ISACA North Texas Chapter. A certified information systems auditor and qualified security assessor, George has more than 12 years of experience in IT auditing and consulting services. She joined Weaver in 2008 after working at KPMG in the information technology advisory practice. Prior to that, she was with TXU/Capgemini Energy in the IT department.
Sean Dalton, principal with Younger Partners, has been elected to the board of Valliance Bank. Dalton has more than 13 years of real estate experience. At Younger Partners he is responsible for the leasing and marketing of commercial office space within the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Prior to Younger Partners, Dalton served as vice president with Grubb & Ellis Co., where he consistently ranked as top producer within the Dallas office. He began his real estate career at Holt Lunsford Commercial.
Engineering & Construction
The Frisco office of Peloton Land Solutions Inc. added Mike Russell as survey manager, responsible for operations of all survey functions, including reviewing and overseeing platting, boundary, topographic A.L.T.A. and easement document preparation. He is a registered professional land surveyor in the state of Texas with similar designations in Oklahoma, Kansas, Mississippi, Arkansas, North Dakota, South Dakota and Arizona. He is a registered member of Texas Society of Professional Surveyors.
Government
The city of McKinney named Trudy Mathis as finance director. Mathis has been the senior financial services manager since 2012 and with the city since 2003. She brings more than 17 years of financial experience to her new role. She previously served as accounting manager, senior cash accountant and CIP accountant in the finance department and also served as administration assistant for the McKinney Fire Department. Prior to coming to the city, she had financial positions with the Plano Youth Soccer Association.
Honors & Awards
Richard Borst, senior research scientist for Tyler Technologies Inc.’s appraisal and tax division and a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) since 1975, received IAAO’s 2016 Distinguished Research and Development Award for his many years of innovative work. Borst is an authority in his field with more than 40 years of experience with computer-assisted mass appraisal systems. He served as president of Cole-Layer-Trumble Co., the founding organization of Tyler’s appraisal and tax division, where he has worked since 1974.
Nonprofit Organizations
Harold Strong has been named president and CEO of bionorthTX, a regional trade association that promotes life sciences economic development. Strong served as director of the University of North Texas Discovery Park and the school’s technology transfer department. He also was executive director of the Texas A&M University Research Park. He is a board member and past president of the Association of University Research Parks.
Joining the bionorthTX board are Francois Fournier, president of North America advanced wound care at Smith & Nephew Inc.; Duane Dimos, vice president for research at University of Texas at Arlington; and Maxwell Lea, managing director at DFB Pharmaceuticals. Kay Tieman, who has been named vice president of sales and marketing of AmeriPac Inc., will remain on the bionorthTX board and executive committee.
Real Estate
Michael Caffey, president of the Texas-Oklahoma division of CBRE Group Inc., will assume executive responsibility for the company’s Latin America business. Caffey will be responsible for 13 CBRE owned offices in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Venezuela. He also oversees CBRE’s business in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. He has led CBRE’s Texas-Oklahoma division since 2011 with responsibility for the strategic direction and performance of all lines of business in the division’s 12 market areas.
Steve Donosky rejoined the Henry S. Miller Companies as president of HSM Dalcon Inc., the division specializing in land acquisition and single-family residential lot development. With more than 35 years of experience, Donosky began his career at HSM as a college intern in 1979 and continued as an associate with the company until 1992. Prior to rejoining HSM, Donosky served in managerial positions with Encore Enterprises Inc., KD Financial Inc., Donosky Real Estate Investments and the Steve Donosky Co. He has a Texas Real Estate Broker License and a CCIM professional designation, and is active in both the National and North Texas CCIM chapters. He is a member of the Texas Homebuilders Association, the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, the MetroTex Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Jackie Fraker Marshall joined CBRE’s Office Agency Leasing team in Dallas as a vice president specializing in the marketing and leasing of office projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Marshall started her career in commercial real estate in CBRE’s Dallas office in 2008. She later joined CBRE’s Atlanta office and most recently worked with CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office.
Technology
Skinny IT added Corey Rickman as vice president of services and Iris Garcia as director of business development. Rickman will oversee the implementation and development functions of the company’s services offerings while also leading services growth strategy. He joins the team with more than 17 years of industry experience in service operations. Previously, Rickman served as the vice president of service operations at Prism Point Technologies, vice president of services at FieldSolutions, and the director of TechPro Operations at CompUSA.
Garcia brings more than 15 years of industry experience in sales, marketing, channels and business growth. She was previously the business development manager for several IT companies, including VMware by Airwatch and Avaya.

Veteran health care exec to lead Baylor Scott & White Health
James H. Hinton has been appointed president and CEO of Baylor Scott & White Health, effective Jan. 16. He will succeed Joel T. Allison, who is retiring after 23 years of service.
Hinton has more than two decades of CEO experience and comes to Baylor Scott & White – the largest not-for-profit health care system in Texas – from Presbyterian Healthcare Services, the largest not-for-profit health care system in New Mexico.
Hinton has served in his current role at Presbyterian since 1995, and has been with the organization since 1983. He worked to grow the Presbyterian Health Plan, which now serves more than 470,000 individuals; and he was deeply involved in building the Presbyterian Medical Group, a practice of more than 800 providers. Also during his tenure, he drove clinical quality and disciplined management processes, and he developed new models of care, which garnered national attention.
Hinton served on the board of the American Hospital Association from 2011-2015. In 2014, he chaired the organization that represents nearly 5,000 hospitals, health care systems, networks and other providers of care through advocacy and public policy. He has received numerous leadership awards during his career, and he was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare magazine in 2013 and 2014.
Allison will work with Hinton to ensure a seamless transition of responsibilities.
Allison joined legacy Baylor Health Care System in 1993, was promoted to president and CEO in 2000, and became CEO of Baylor Scott & White Health following the 2013 merger with Scott & White Healthcare. Over more than two decades, he worked to grow the system to 47 hospitals and nearly 1,000 patient access points across North and Central Texas.
Belen Marcos to lead Cintra in U.S.
Austin-based Cintra named transportation infrastructure development executive Belen Marcos as its new United States president. She will oversee Cintra’s entire U.S. portfolio, which includes nearly $8 billion of road infrastructure projects.
Marcos replaces Nicolas Rubio, who was promoted to global operations director in Madrid, Spain.
Marcos joined Cintra in 1999 as a project engineer and most recently served as CEO of the combined operations of the North Tarrant Express, LBJ Express and construction of the NTE 35W project. Prior to that, she served as the CEO of NTE Mobility Partners LLC for seven years.
While with NTE Mobility Partners, she successfully managed the construction and operation of the $2.1 billion North Tarrant Express Managed Lanes, which opened nine months ahead of schedule in 2014. She also oversaw operation of the $2.6 billion LBJ Express, which opened ahead of schedule in 2015 and has been described by the Texas Department of Transportation as the most comprehensive, complex project of its type in the country.
Prior to NTEMP, she was chief operating officer for the Chicago Skyway and chief information officer for ITR Concession Co, a division of Cintra, which managed the Indiana Toll Road.
A role model and advocate for women and minorities in construction, architecture and engineering, Marcos was named the 2011 CEO of the Year by the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association.
Alberto Gonzalez, who served as deputy CEO of the projects, replaces Marcos as chief.
