The City of Fort Worth and The Beck Group, an integrated architecture and construction firm, are partnering for another year of the Beck School of Construction — a program created to help small businesses in the construction industry grow and scale in Fort Worth. Applications are currently open and will close at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31. Classes are expected to begin in late January.
The Beck School of Construction was launched in 2019, with the goal of mentoring local businesses in the construction industry. By 2020, graduates of the program had already been awarded $14.28 million in contracts. The program meets monthly between January and October, with a summer break in July. It provides comprehensive training sessions to help certified businesses increase their industry knowledge, build their expertise and become more competitive when bidding on construction projects.
