Looking for some New Year’s Eve plans to blow your friends’ plans out of the water?

Parvenu Events, Fort Worth’s newest event company, invites you to “Roar” into the new year with Ritz & Wonders: The Greatest Show on NYE — a spectacular 1920s-themed circus experience in The Foundry District’s Violet Room on from 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, to 2 a.m. Monday, Jan. 1.

This one-night-only event will feature immersive, vintage-inspired performances every half hour and an under-the-big-top champagne countdown that Parvenu says is “unlike anything in this era.

The 21-and-older only event aims to showcase its over-the-big-top creativity and deep roots in the Fort Worth community by partnering with local businesses and artists.

Attendees are invited to embrace the ritzy new year’s celebration in their finest 1920s attire, bring dollars for the cash bar, amusement and popcorn served by cigarette girls. And, as a special event offering, the TX Whiskey promotional team will treat guests to samples of their libations.

From daring displays of acrobatics, aerial feats and magic acts to extravagant burlesque performances and crystal ball gazing — Ritz & Wonders: The Greatest Show on NYE will have the crowd in awe.

Ring leader and former president of The Fort Worth Magic Club, Ash Adams will perform acts that pay homage to magicians of old-world skill and present a lineup of sideshows from silk-taming aerialist and burlesque performer Vivienne Vermuth and juggler Arty Dodger. Drag Queen Frida Monet will emerge from a pearlescent clamshell and perform a musical number as magical as her grand entry.

Circus-goers can also experience fortune telling with Jack Willson, a photo booth and carnival games while enjoying the sounds of deejays Ronnie Heart and Pop Boy Etc.

For a sultry time, dappers and flappers can indulge in the swanky VIP Speakeasy with the purchase of a VIP ticket. The ticket will include a private burlesque performance, exclusive bar and lounge chairs with a center stage view.

This one-night-only celebration will share the stage with Artistic Director Jay Wilkinson and Master Builder Brandon Pederson — showcasing four circus animal installations reaching heights of 20-feet-tall sponsored by Fort Worth’s CG Northern Development.

The duo will elevate the traditional holiday fête to an art-immersive experience as they transform The Violet Room’s 14,000 square feet from top to bottom with ‘20s inspired art and design.

Ticket prices are as follows; $40 general admission pre-purchased tickets, $50 general admission at the door or $100 for VIP access, which includes admission into the speakeasy, private seating and exclusive bar and a private burlesque performance. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.prekindle.com/event/87829-ritz-and-wonders-the-greatest-show-on-nye-fort-worth.
