In this hilarious sequel to Greater Tuna, it’s Christmas in the third smallest town in Texas. The plot revolves around the annual yuletide yard display contest, won 14 times in a row by Vera Carp. A mysterious “Christmas Phantom” known for vandalizing the yard displays has the contestants on edge. Stanley Bumiller’s attempts to end his probation, Bertha Bumiller’s struggle to hold her family together during the holidays, and Joe Bob Lipsey’s production of A Christmas Carol jeopardized by unpaid electric bills add to the hilarity. Rated PG-13.
