Party on the Porch is back for it’s third year at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art from 6–10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23.

The Amon Carter invites the community to attend this free event featuring art, live music, food trucks and cash bars. If food trucks aren’t to your taste, attendees can also pre-order Central Market Picnic Packs by calling 817-377-9307.

Three bands will play on the plaza – Green River Ordinance, Matt Tedder Trio and Summer Dean. The live music will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with Summer Dean, followed by the Matt Tedder Trio, and finally, headliner, Green River Ordinance.

“The first two years of Party on the Porch were so much fun, and we could not be happier to be back again with this event for Fort Worth on September 23,” said Andrew Walker, executive director of the Amon Carter, in a news release. “The combination of live music, food, art and community can’t be beat.”

Inside Image Design will provide porch lighting and special effects for the event, and Pan Ector will sell it’s on-site, screenprinted Fort Worth-themed T-shirts.

The Amon Carter will close at 5 p.m. and reopen for Party on the Porch at 6 p.m., offering extended gallery and Museum Store hours until 9 p.m. for event guests.

Additionally, docents will be giving tours and artmaking will be offered.
