Celebrate the vibrant culture of Fort Worth with an evening of truly amazing artists and performances. Celebration of the Arts benefits the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, which serves the ever growing needs of the Fort Worth art community.
The theme of 2018’s Celebration of the Arts evening is Art in the Dark. Attendees will enjoy interactive art opportunities featuring local artists. Guillermo Tapia will be on hand creating glow in the dark gestural drawings of guests. Neon Noir, the first virtual reality arcade in the greater DFW Metroplex, will have virtual reality drawing. A broad range of performances from  will go on throughout the evening on the main stage in the Front Gallery. Aurora Bleu’s vintage sound will be a crowd pleaser! Ballet Folklorico, Grupo Takal, Dark Circles Contemporary Dance, and local favorite Sheran Goodspeed are scheduled to perform.  The Lone Star Film Society has again partnered with the Fort Worth Arts Council to again premiere their 2-minute short film contest winners. There will be a special exhibition as part of our 2018 partnership with Art Tooth.
