Need an idea for a date-night activity with your significant other? Consider Sur La Table’s Date Night cooking classes. This Saturday, Sept. 2, the theme is Italian Summer. The class will take place from 6-8 p.m. and tickets are $79.
The Italian Summer inspired menu includes:
— House smoked burrata with olive oil and summer herbs
— Zucchini noodles with grilled shrimp, goat cheese and burst cherry tomatoes
— And a peach and blackberry crostata
“In this hands-on class, our instructor will show you how to transform seasonal ingredients into a scrumptious Italian dinner,” the website reads. “You’ll love working alongside your date and other couples as you practice innovative techniques like creating zucchini noodles with a spiralizer and using a smoking gun.”
Finally, during dessert, students will make a flaky pie crust from scratch for their fresh summer fruit to top.
