The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival begins April 5 and, for the second year in a row, the Balcom Agency is providing communications and marketing services for the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation, the organization behind the event.
The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival draws more than 7,500 attendees to the city, and attracts attendees from coast to coast. Over the course of four days, local and regional chefs demonstrate their expertise at six festival events.
Proceeds from the event are used to fund program grants and culinary scholarships to Fort Worth students. Since 2014, the festival has raised more than $130,000 to support upcoming generations of culinary students.

The 2018 promotional strategy for the upcoming festival includes email marketing, social media, event signage and collateral, website updates, media placement and public relations outreach. Balcom is also working with the team to promote two additional events new to this year’s festival schedule.
