Ben’s Triple B, standing for Biscuits, Burgers and Brews, has opened on East Rosedale Street across from Texas Wesleyan University.

Chef and owner of West Magnolia’s Fixture Kitchen and Social Lounge, Ben Merritt, has been considered a rising star in Fort Worth’s food scene.

Merritt’s 3,400-square-foot eatery is at 3016 E. Rosedale St. The restaurant’s hours are 10-9, seven days a week. The menu, as the name suggests, features biscuits, breakfast items, burgers, a full bar and TVs for sports fans.

According to a news release when the project was first announced, Merritt developed his passion for food and cooking while traversing the globe during his time in the U.S. Navy. Merritt is an American Culinary Federation Certified Culinarian who has worked and trained alongside some of America’s most well-respected chefs, such as Chef Stephan Pyles.
