Bounty hunter reality TV stars closing bail bonds office

HONOLULU (AP) — “Dog the Bounty Hunter” reality TV star Duane “Dog” Chapman’s bail bonds office in Honolulu is closing.

A news release from a publicist for Chapman and his wife Beth says the couple’s Da Kine Bail Bonds will be closing at the end of the month because the building will be demolished.

A&E series “Dog the Bounty Hunter” was canceled in 2012. The Chapmans later starred in “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt” which aired on Country Music Television.

Tourists sometimes stop by the office because episodes of both shows were filmed there.

The Chapmans later opened a logo shop in the same building.

The couple is looking at other locations. Beth Chapman says the move is bittersweet while she fights throat cancer.
