Wednesday 4/23 The city of Fort Worth will host the Mayor’s Rolling Town Hall at 5:30 p.m. at the National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum located at 3400 Mt. Vernon Ave. in Fort Worth. The event is a 6.3 mile bike ride through the eastern portion of Fort Worth. For information and complete bike route go to www.fortworthtexas.gov.

“Big Guns In Cowtown” fundraising event for the Fort Worth Police Department’s training programs and equipment purchases. Celebrity “big guns” that will be in attendance include event host Hal Jay, TCU’s Gary Patterson, Mayor Betsy Price, Fort Worth Police Chief Jeff Halstead, and professional shotgun shooter and Team Beretta USA superstar Travis Mears. www.fwpoliceawards.org

Friday 4/25 Texas A&M School of Law will host a water scarcity lecture at 12:30 p.m. at its campus located at 1515 Commerce St. in Fort Worth. Australia’s University of Adelaide Professor Mike Young will share the innovative solutions Australia implemented when faced with a six-year drought. Tuesday 4/29 Texas Ballet Theater will offer a free live performance at 11:30 a.m. in Sundance Square Plaza during International Dance Day. The event’s theme is Language of Motion and includes live performances as well as remarks by Texas Ballet Theater’s artistic staff and others. The event will also celebrate the Texas Ballet Theater’s 2014/2015 season that includes Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Nutty Nutcracker, The Merry Widow, Masterworks and Artistic Director’s Choice. www.texasballettheater.org
