Thursday 7/24 The U.S. Small Business Administration will host Boots to Business: Reboot July 24 and 25 at Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus, 300 Trinity Campus Circle in Fort Worth. The event is a two-day, entrepreneurial class that will introduce military veterans to business ownership. Each class, taught by an SBA representative or resource partner, will educate veterans on business fundamentals and guide them through an initial feasibility analysis of the business concept. Sunday 7/27 The National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum will celebrate the National Day of the American Cowboy at 7 p.m. at Cowtown Coliseum, 121 E. Exchange Ave. in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Legendary cowboy Bill Pickett will be honored during the Hall of Fame Rodeo. Tuesday 7/29 Fort Worth Sister Cities will host Connect Globally Teach Locally from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University of North Texas Health Science Center’s Beyer Hall, 1000 Montgomery St. in Fort Worth. The cost is $45, which includes six hours of continuing professional education (CPE) credits, lunch, resources, one-year membership to Fort Worth Sister Cities and the opportunity to network with educators from around the world.
