🕐 1 min read

NEW YORK (AP) — CBS says it has hired two high-profile law firms, Covington & Burling, and Debevoise & Plimpton, to investigate sexual harassment claims against CEO Les Moonves.

Both teams will be led by women. Covington & Burling’s investigation will be led by Nancy Kestenbaum and Debevoise & Plimpton’s investigation will be led by Mary Jo White.

Kestenbaum has led independent investigations of sexual misconduct for private schools Choate Rosemary Hall and The Brearley School.

White was the chair of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission until 2016 and a former United States Securities and a former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York from 1993 to 2002.
