FORT WORTH, TX– (Sept. 3, 2025) The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is proud to announce the return of ¡Celebramos! A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage, proudly presented by Charles Schwab Bank. This is the fifth year for this vibrant event that promises an unforgettable experience celebrating music, food, art, dance, and the rich cultural heritage that makes the Hispanic community such an integral part of Fort Worth.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
September 13, 2025 – Flag Parade and Free Admission Day The celebration kicks off with a spectacular Latin American Flag Parade and a full day of FREE admission to the Garden! The festivities feature live mariachi performances, delicious cuisine from Gordo’s Mexican Cocina, Mama Lama, and Fair Food trucks, plus a high-energy dance party with DJ Alexander Mejia. Visitors can also explore the Mariposa Market in Carter’s Grove from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., which showcases offerings from more than 50 local artisan vendors. The day’s schedule includes flag parade registration at 10 a.m., the parade procession at 11 a.m., and food trucks with dancing starting at 1 p.m.
September 13, 2025 – Tequila-Rita Festival This 21+ evening event in the Grove features DJ Alexander Mejia and live performance by local band Quimikoz Del Son. Tickets include unlimited beverages with featured cocktails from Fort Worth-based La Pulga tequila maker, plus food from Los Vaqueros, Gordo’s Mexican Cocina and La Bandida Street Food.
September 14, 2025 – Family Fun & Wellness Day Bring the entire family to this day filled with health and wellness activities, information booths from local organizations, bounce houses, face painting, chalk art, lotería, and delightful interactive puppet shows by Maricela and Friends. Enjoy the second day of our artisan market in Carter’s Grove from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

October 11, 2025 – ¡Celebramos! Fiesta de Cultura Viva Experience the stunning beauty of Hispanic culture at this vibrant celebration! Throughout the day, enjoy captivating Mariachi and Folklorico performances, along with special Fort Worth Opera presentations at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Don’t miss the breathtaking ¡Celebramos! Quinceañera Fashion Show at 2:00 p.m., presented by La Gran Plaza. Guests can also explore the unique Mariposa Market in Carter’s Grove, offering distinctive cultural treasures and authentic finds.
October 12, 2025 – Arts, Blessings & Movie Night Enjoy a day filled with creativity and community, featuring a student art show highlighting talented students from FWISD, the beloved Blessing of the Animals in our Garden Center, a handmade goods market showcasing local artisans, and an enchanting Movie Night under the stars featuring Disney’s Coco. Family tickets for the movie presentation are just $5 for up to four people, making this an affordable evening of entertainment for all ages. We recommend arriving early to claim the perfect spot in the Garden for an unforgettable experience.
October 26, 2025 – Day of the Dead Celebration Join FWBG’s Day of the Dead celebration on October 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for an immersive cultural experience that honors this cherished tradition. The festivities will include a ceremonial procession through the Garden, culminating in a breathtaking marigold carpet display featuring more than 150,000 blooms cascading down the Rose Garden stairs. Throughout the day, guests will enjoy performances by local Mariachi and Folklórico groups, encounters with both larger-than-life and live catrinas, and the opportunity to participate in creating a community ofrenda altar—a beautiful tribute to Day of the Dead traditions. This must-see cultural celebration promises an unforgettable blend of vibrant colors, deep meaning, and rich heritage. Admission for this event will be $5 for adults and $3 for children and seniors.
