Country music fans sell out Arlington’s ACM Awards show in 18 minutes

It only took 18 minutes for music fans to snatch up 70,000 tickets for both next year’s 50th Anniversary of the Academy of Country Music Awards and the ACM Party for a Cause: 50 Years of Music & Memories in Arlington.

The events were the biggest – and fastest – selling in the academy’s history. The 50th ACM Awards will be broadcast live for the first time from AT&T Stadium in Arlington on April 19, 2015. Country stars Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will return to co-host the event, which will cap off three days of music, including the third annual ACM Party for a Cause on April 17-18, 2015, at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

There may be tickets made available at a later date, according to ACM officials. If that happens, the ACM A-List will be notified first. Fans are encouraged to sign up for the ACM A-List for free at www.acmcountry.com to receive event updates.
