Curly’s adds ride-thru service for breakfast too

Twelve-year-old Camp Bowie custard and hot dog provider Curly’s Frozen Custard began adding drive-thru breakfast items a few weeks back. Called “The Morning Drive,” Curly’s is serving breakfast items, baked and supplied by another 12-year-old business, A&H Donuts.

On Friday, Oct. 10, Curly’s added another twist to its service: Ride-thru.

Bo Jimeson, wearing a cowboy hat, rode his horse, Bud, through the drive-thru window to order breakfast.

Bourke Harvey, managing partner of Curly’s, said the ride-thru service pays tribute to Fort Worth’s horse-friendly nature as was noted in a Wall Street Journal story on July 25.
