Burleson-based nonprofit Blue Family Fund has been named Nonprofit of the Night and the WNBA Dallas Wings at the Wings’ June 30 game against the Minnesota Lynx.

The game starts at 3 p.m. at the College Park Center, 600 S. Center St. in Arlington.

“We are proud to have partnered with the Dallas Wings,” said Stacey Magovern, co-founder of Blue Family Fund. “We will be presenting a scholarship to the dependent of a law enforcement officer during the game.

Blue Family Fund is a non-profit that provides scholarship opportunities and financial assistance to law enforcement families in need. Blue Family Fund said that 100% of donations made to the fund are donated directly to the families of fallen police officers through scholarships or as aid.
