Ed Sheeran to come to Arlington’s AT&T Stadium for 2018 North American Stadium Tour

Ed Sheeran has announced details for his first-ever North American stadium tour.

According to a news release, to make sure tickets go to fans — not scalpers or bots — Sheeran is partnering with Ticketmaster to use the #VerifiedFan system. Registration closes on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 10 p.m. ET.

Fan Presales will begin Monday, Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. and will go through Thursday, Oct. 19 at 10 p.m. The tickets will be able to be purchased by the general public beginning Friday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m.

Sheeran’s third studio album “÷” (pronounced “divide”) is the biggest selling album of the year thus far, according to the release, and the album’s lead single “Shape of You” is the most streamed song ever on Spotify.
