Steve is a true original American Country & Blues singer-songwriter and seasoned performer. He creates memorable music drawn from his own experiences and touches every listener. Each lyric is a look into Steve’s life. From Dallas TX, Steve was given his first guitar at age 5 by his uncle who showed him a few chords and he took it from there. He grew up playing guitar and singing at family functions and at church and later on the tail gate of his old pickup with his friends after the rodeo. In his songwriting, he tries to stay true to his roots and the artists who inspired him. Hank Sr. to Hendrix, Merle Hagard to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steve finds a way to blend the styles in his own way that is heartfelt and relatable. With no formal training, Steve has a true gift for creating music while defying genre boxes. From Traditional Country, Texas Blues and a sprinkle of Folk and Southern Rock, Steve has a musical style that makes you want to listen to more.
