Family history workshop at Fort Worth Library

Genealogist Pat Gordon presents this full-day workshop on publishing a family history.

10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, Central Library, Tandy Lecture Hall

Gordon discusses how to get started and bring ancestors to life as well as the layout and design of your final product. Writing topics include the types of family histories, citation, documentation and copyright. Design considerations include master pages, headers, footers, paragraph style, fonts, photos, cutlines and a primer to publishing your final product.
