Golden Chick opens fifth Fort Worth restaurant

Founded in Texas in 1967, Golden Chick is a DFW-based family of chicken restaurants best known for its delightfully crispy Golden Tenders and Golden Fried Chicken. It announced Monday the opening of its fifth location in Fort Worth. The new restaurant is located off of U.S. Route 287 at 2820 East Berry Street.

The newest Fort Worth location will officially open its doors for business on Thursday, December 15, 2016. This new restaurant will be the 166th addition to the rapidly growing Golden Chick family. The brand will also have two additional Fort Worth restaurant openings coming in 2017.

“We are thrilled to expand on our tender traditions in this community, since our Fort Worth customers are among our most loyal fans,” said Mark Parmerlee, president and CEO of Golden Chick. “Not only is East Berry a very busy shopping and retail area, we are also so excited to continue to grow our presence in the city so more and more fans can enjoy our flavorful food.”

Golden Chick’s marinated Golden Fried Chicken and Golden Tenders have been satisfying customers for nearly 50 years. These classic menu items are prepared with special marinating mixes and batters to create the taste and crunch that originally made them famous. Additionally, Golden Chick offers a variety of chef-inspired menu items including hand-rubbed Golden Roast Chicken, Gourmet Chicken Salad, and Almost World Famous Hot Yeast Rolls.
