It’s time for a TMS race, so it’s time for over-the-top food

Hawg Heaven

It’s time for another race at Texas Motor Speedway, so what does that mean? Some more over-the-top food items from Levy Restaurants.

This time, just in time for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 it’s an oversized burrito.

The Hawg Heaven Burro Grande is an oversized burrito stuffed with pork carnitas crisped with pecan wood smoked shoulder bacon, tomato cilantro rice, bacon and jalapeno-studded ranch beans, queso, pickled red onion, and Fritos for crunch. But that’s not all: It’s then topped off with bacon avocado crema and sriracha aioli.

The specialty concession item is only available at concession stand 405 inside Gate 4. Priced at $11, it will be on sale during the NASCAR doubleheader weekend that features the NASCAR XFINITY Series My Bariatric Solutions 500 on Saturday, April 8 and the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 on Sunday, April 9.

“The Hawg Heaven line of concession items continue to grow in popularity every race weekend,” said Levy Restaurants Executive Chef Lincoln Engstrom. “This burro grande is a meal all by itself and I’m sure race fans will enjoy it during the weekend.”

The Hawg Heaven concession line began in 2013 with Hawg Heaven Bacon Cotton Candy and has featured the Shake ‘n Bacon Brew bacon-infused beer milkshake, Bacon Nachos, Queso Wings, Double Barrel Dawg, the Final Rocky Road-eo ice cream sundae honoring Jeff Gordon’s final season in 2015, the BBQ Melt, the Ranchero Dawg and the Three Little Pigs at last November’s race weekend.
