Newk’s Eatery is opening a second Fort Worth restaurant.

The new eatery will open on October 15 at 3556 Highway 114 Suite 412 in Champions Center. This franchise will mark Newk’s fifth restaurant in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, growing to over 120 restaurants total.

Fort Worth NKS LLC will operate the new restaurant in the Fort Worth area, in addition to its other Newk’s restaurant at Presidio Town Crossing. The new 4,200 square-foot Newk’s Eatery, located across the street from Texas Motor Speedway, will accommodate 135 guests.

To celebrate the opening, Newk’s will host family-friendly activities in-store on October 19 and 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Additionally, Newk’s will donate $1 from every beverage sold at each restaurant to Community Storehouse from October 15 – 22.

“At Newk’s, great food drives us, and we’re excited to share our robust culinary-driven menu with more folks in the Fort Worth area,” said Stewart Slocum, CMO of Newk’s Eatery. “Our founder Chris Newcomb, who develops our dishes, is a true foodie, and his passion for big flavors and generous portions is brought to life in every dish.”

Newk’s was just named “Best Overall Experience in Fast Casual” by Technomic at the National Restaurant Association conference.

Newk’s in Fort Worth will be open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. www.newks.com.
