Revolver Taco Lounge, held the soft opening at their new Forest Park location last night. They are kicking into high gear with their official opening today – appropriately on Taco Tuesday!
Owner Regino Rojas and family plan to and serve al pastor tacos all day long for only $2.00 to celebrate the opening, and they will be served on those amazingly delicate handmade tortillas. Half price Margaritas are just made for toasting the arrival of Revolver Taco Lounge to the Forest Park area.
The former Sera Dining space has been transformed, and now has plenty of room to host buffet brunches (made popular at their short-lived Campestre Chula Vista outpost). The new restaurant has a very similar layout to the West Seventh location, with the tequila bar to the right, the open kitchen to the left and seating towards the window. Fans will feel right at home.
In a recent Facebook post Rojas said, “Be prepared for breakfast/lunch buffet volume II. It will be bigger and more exciting with more guisados and sopas. The buffet will be served from 7a.m. to 3 p.m. and I promise you the best, fresh Mercado style buffet in town!” Revolver, which is well-known for their fresh ceviche will now have a magnificent ceviche bar serving fresh sashimi grade ceviches and oysters too.
