Yoga on the Plaza – Sundance Square


Start the weekend off right at a group yoga session in beautiful Sundance Square Plaza. All levels are welcome. Seasoned instructors Lorie Grandclair-Diaz and Meredith Smith will put you through your moves. Presented by Sundance Square and Amon G. Carter, Jr. Downtown YMCA. Then stick around for a cup of tea or coffee and a healthy breakfast at some of the nearby restaurants.

Wine Society of Texas – 20th Celebration

Time to celebrate 20 years. The cost includes 4 different Texas wines along with a four course meal. There will be a surprise 5th wine, with a special toast. An option of steak or fish is offered for a main dish. Let us know which one you prefer when you make reservations. We will have a multimedia presentation on the last 20 years, plus a panel discussion. The cost will be $100 for members and $110 for non- members of the Wine Society of Texas.

Community Arts Center – Gallery Receptions

Receptions for art exhibits opening at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, are open and free to the public. Each month the Community Arts Center welcomes new and exciting artists to display their works for one month. They host a reception where many of the artists are on hand, light snacks and drinks are often provided.

A Cold Climb for The WARM Place

Come out and enjoy a night of live music and cold beer to help The WARM Place reach its goal of raising $20,310 (the elevation of Mt. Denali). Two local firefighters are climbing Mt. Denali to raise awareness and funds for grieving children at The WARM Place. The WARM Place is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides grief support for children ages 3 ½ – 18 and their families as well as young adults 19 – 25 who have experienced the death of a loved one.
