Fort Worth company listed in 2019 Made in America Holiday Gift Guide

The Alliance for American Manufacturing recently released the 2019 Made in America Holiday Gift Guide, an annual collection of holiday gift ideas from companies that make products in the USA and outlying islands.

W Durable Goods of Fort Worth is one of three Texas companies featured in the guide, first launched in 2013.

Also listed is Dallas-based Paris Bloom, recognized for its collection of modern dresses completely designed in America by the Paris Bloom team, and Austin-based Texas Standard, known for men’s apparel ranging from shirts and polos to denim jeans, Alliance said in a news release. Texas Standard has a Fort Worth location at 1653 River Run.

W Durable Goods is best known for handmade bags and accessories including keychains, hats, card cases, fountain pens, patches and more, the news release said. The company is owned by Stephanie and Daniel Wright and has a physical store location at 108 S. Freeway in Fort Worth, as well as a retail website, https://wdurablegoods.com.

“Our Made in America Holiday Gift Guide gives us the opportunity to shine a spotlight on companies that support jobs and manufacturing in America,” Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) President Scott Paul said in the news release.

“The gift guide also gives holiday shoppers something to look forward to each year. Many of our advocates and supporters tell us it can be difficult to find Made in America products in places like big chain stores, so we hope that this makes their holiday season a little easier,” Paul said.

“Everything sold by W Durable Goods is hand-cut and sewn by founder Daniel Wright and his team in Fort Worth. Wright spent 12 years working as electrician before opening a retail location in 2012, which now offers a variety of bags and accessories, many of which are priced under $100,” the gift guide said.
