Fort Worth Del Frisco’s GM promoted to regional manager

Greg Kalina, general manager of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House in downtown Fort Worth, has been promoted to regional manager for the steak house chain. “Greg’s contributions have been invaluable and he embodies so many of the wonderful traits of our company,” said Mark S. Mednansky, chief executive officer of Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group Inc. “His warm hospitality, team leadership and community involvement will continue to enhance the strategic direction and growth of the Del Frisco’s brand.”

Kalina joined Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group in August 2006 after a seven-year stint as director of operations for a boutique restaurant group. Kalina serves on the boards of a Wish with Wings, Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation and the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate. He has chaired the Big Taste of Fort Worth, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters, for five years and is a director on the board governing the Fort Worth Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Kalina also chairs the Fort Worth Independent School District Teaching Chairs of Excellence.
