For this performance, Miguel-Harth Bedoya has personally selected music from Grieg’s ubiquitous Peer Gynt suite. You’ll hear favorites like “Morning Mood,” “In the Hall of the Mountain King,” and “Anitra’s Dance” in addition to some less familiar tunes from the score. Also on the program, Strauss’s epic symphonic self-depiction, Ein Heldenleben, a musical tribute to his own life.
