Fort Worth Zoo opens Safari Splash

Safari Splash

The Fort Worth Zoo held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday to celebrate the opening of zoo’s newest attraction, Safari Splash, a 14,000-square-foot water play area.

This zero-depth splash park features waterslides, a 300-gallon dump tower, toddler play areas, water cannons and many other features that will be dunking, splashing, spraying and soaking guests. Safari Splash opens to the public tomorrow, May 8 and will remain open during normal zoo operating hours throughout the summer season. (Safari Splash admission is $5 with Zoo admission.) Safari Splash was made possible by a generous donation from the Kelly and Jeff Dillard family.
