To celebrate the season, Waterside is hosting its 3rd annual Grove of Giving event to spotlight and help raise funds for local nonprofits including the Alzheimer’s Association North Central Texas Chapter, Gill Children’s Services, Kids Who Care, Rutledge Cancer Foundation, Streams & Valleys, Trinity Habitat for Humanity and RiverVue Apartments benefiting Alliance for Children.
The event is at The Grove at Waterside, 5918 Convair Drive, Fort Worth.
Each participating organization has decorated a Christmas tree.
Through Friday, Dec. 21, the public will be able to vote for up to three of their favorite decorated trees by visiting The Grove at Waterside and following the voting instructions onsite. A $1,000 donation will be given to the nonprofit whose tree gets the most votes with additional prizes awarded to organizations during the event.
Waterside’s developer, Fort Worth-based Trademark Property Company, is committed to cultivating a place of commerce, community and meaning through its Conscious Place initiative.
