The Fort Worth Public Library Foundation received a grant award of $16,500 from LegacyTexas Bank to support STEAM programs at the Fort Worth Library presented on March 28 in the Sid W. Richardson Discovery Theatre at the Central Library. The grant will support expanding access to 3D printers, robotics and other equipment across Fort Worth through the Mobile Cat concept. (STEAM encompasses science, technology, engineering, art and math.)

“LegacyTexas Bank is pleased to provide the Fort Worth Library with funding for these Mobile Cats that will help increase the 21st century skills of our community’s K through 12 students by giving them greater access to hands-on, science-based discovery tools,” said Eric Loller, vice president and community reinvestment officer for LegacyTexas Bank.
