Unfortunately, due to poor weather on Sept. 27, Goat Yoga had to be cancelled. It has been rescheduled it for Oct. 11 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm.

You’ve heard of the Lawn Party at the Stockyards, now get ready for Goat Yoga at the Stockyards – let’s just hope they don’t eat up all the grass!

Deep Ellum Yoga is “bringing The Great Goat Yoga party to our sister city in the west,” the website reads. On Wednesday, Sept. 27, there will be a three-part event. A free Lounge on the Lawn party will take place in front of the historic livestock exchange building at The Fort Worth Stockyards beginning at 5:30 p.m. The lawn party will be followed by two $39 (baby) Goat Yoga Classes – one at 6 p.m. and one at 7:30 p.m.

The money from the Goat Yoga will benefit Ranch Hand Rescue.

“Bring the family to enjoy live music, lawn games, a beer and wine garden, food trucks, prize giveaways and more.,” the event page reads. “The event is kid friendly and free to those who are not partaking in the Goat Yoga. Those who wish to participate in the class can purchase tickets and are eligible to participate in a $1000 raffle giveaway.”

Each ticket includes a parking pass, one hour yoga class, a “goat-proof” mat towel, free “swag” from event sponsors, entry into the prize raffle and private access to the professional event photographs.
