Plenty of burger-focused restaurants are coming to the area, but the new Teddy’s Bigger Burgers opening today in Colleyville may have come the furthest: Hawaii.
Teddy’s is located at 4712 Colleyville Blvd, across from Whole Foods.
Founded 17 years ago in Hawaii, Teddy’s Bigger Burgers currently has 23 restaurants across the U.S.; 12 in Hawaii, three in Washington, one each in California, Iowa and Texas.
Prices range from $5.19 to $11.19 with varieties offered such as Barcado, Kailua, Volcano, The Greek, Slaw Daddy, Hawaiian, Bleu Wave and Kilauea Fire.
The menu also includes a turkey burger, veggie burger, grilled chicken and crispy chicken breast sandwiches, grilled salmon burger, fish fillet sandwich, pastrami sandwich and BBQ pork.
Brad and Nancy Sinex of Colleyville are the owners of the new Teddy’s Bigger Burgers. It was visit to Maui in 2013 that led the couple purchase a franchise and open the first Texas location for the chain.
