Hip Pocket Theatre opens its 42nd Season with the World Premiere of The Great Mark Twain Shenanigan and Bewhiskered Ballet. By Mark Twain and Adapted and Directed by Johnny Simons. The ensemble includes Thad Isbell, Christina Cranshaw, Kristi Ramos Toler, Shelby Griffin, Jozy Camp, Elysia Worcester, Rebo Hill, Jamie Carson, Lauren Moreau, Ryan Seale, Nick Gilley, Jeff Stanfield, Damek Salazar, Paul Heyduck, Paul Logsdon, Garrett Brewster, Michael Cagill, and Jennie Godfrey. Lighting Design by Nikki DeShea Smith. Costumes by Lauren Moreau and Rebo Hill.

The show opens June 1 with a three-week run, closing on June 17 with performances at 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Tickets are $20 for adults with reduced prices for seniors, military, teachers, students, and children. The Backyard concessions area will feature local musicians before and after each performance and food is also available before and after the show. The play begins promptly at 9 PM with absolutely no late seating. Gates open at 7 p.m., so come enjoy a magical night under the stars.
