The goal of the CFW Festival, according to a news release, is to bring North Texas’ premier craft beer and wine brands and world-class restaurants together with live entertainment, chef-inspired cooking demonstrations, premium experiences and music.

“We are thrilled to host the inaugural CFW Festival at Globe Life Park this April,” Mark Neifeld, Texas Rangers vice president of events, said in a news release. “Our musical lineup is fantastic, and it promises to be a great two days of food, drink, entertainment and fun in the epicenter of the DFW Metroplex.”

The festival will feature:

— Approximately 30 craft beer vendors, restaurants and wineries in pop-up booths

— An experience tent with hands-on demonstrations every hour

— Celebrity chef appearances

— RFID wristbands for each guest, serving as their ticket and transaction method on purchases (cash-free)

The CFW Festival will include headlining musical acts on Friday and Saturday evening:

— Los Angeles quintet Young The Giant

— Nashville-based R.LUM.R

— Texas Tech alum Josh Abbott and Austin Davis’ Josh Abbott Band

— Texas-born Lonestar
