Looking for a fun, free way to spend your Thursday?
The Amon Carter’s Sunset Cinema continues next week from 6-10 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, and will be featuring the “all-American comedy A League of Their Own (1992, PG).”
This free event is sponsored by Humphrey & Associates Inc. and will take place outside on the Amon Carter lawn. The lawn will open at 6 p.m. with a themed tour to begin at 7 p.m. and the film to be shown at 8 p.m.
The Amon Carter recommends early arrival to get a good seat, snack at a food truck or embark on a museum tour.
The website states that lawn chairs, blankets and coolers are welcome in the lawn area, but please leave glass bottles and pets at home.
