Justin Brands adds to marketing team

Fort Worth Business Press' 40 Under 40 boots are made by Justin Boots. 

Western footwear icon Justin Brands Inc. has stepped up its marketing and communications efforts with new additions to the team.

Led by Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Lankes, the 136-year-old company named Lisa Albert senior communications manager and Kristin Crosthwait senior marketing manager.

“The new roles are the first step in Justin Brands’ 2015 efforts to establish integrated marketing and communications strategies and are designed to ensure all marketing, advertising, public relations and social media strategies are integrated across the brands,” Lankes said.

Albert and Crosthwait will lead strategic planning for the department and ensure the appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are developed in order to exceed organizational goals.

Albert most recently served in a similar role at Texas Christian University. She brings 14 years of experience with expertise in branding, media relations, social media and community relations. In her new role, she ensures all PR, communications and social marketing align with overarching brand strategies. Specifically, Albert manages media relations, product placement for movies, blogger requests, relationships with music endorsees and oversees all social media for Justin Brands.

Crosthwait has more than eight years of experience in marketing strategy, planning and operational excellence. In her new role at Justin Brands she will lead a team responsible for maintaining advertising budgets across all company divisions, providing sales support for the brands, offering digital strategy and coordinating the company’s relationships with outside vendors, agencies and retailers to achieve overarching goals.
