The Kimbell Art Museum has announced “Soul Sundays,” a free yoga series in the Renzo Piano Pavilion, which will be presented in conjunction with the special exhibition From the Lands of Asia: The Sam and Myrna Myers Collection.

Sessions will take place from 11 a.m. to noon each Sunday from March 11 through April 22 (no class on April 1). Each session is free, though space is limited so registration on kimbellart.org is recommended. Additionally, participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early.

Instructors from SoulSpace Yoga Community will lead these all-levels yoga classes, which aim to emphasize mindfulness and slow flow exercises.

After, participants will enjoy discounted admission to the special exhibition From the Lands of Asia and have the option to participate in docent-facilitated “slow-looking” tours featuring three to five artworks. In keeping with the theme, Asian-inspired lunch options by chef Peter Kreidler will be available at the Pavilion Café.
