The Kimbell Art museum will be continuing its Kimbell Social Club this Friday with a happy hour featuring a live music performance by Chris Johnson, the lead singer for Telegraph Canyon a Fort Worth band.
The news release said that the event will make available hors d’oeuvres and half-price drinks for attendees to purchase. Drinks include $4 wine by the glass and $3 beers from Wild Acre Brewing Company.
Wild Acre Brewing’s website says that it is a Fort Worth based brewery located on El Paso Street and says that they have four different types of beer:
– Soul Pleasure – a Southern stout that with a smooth texture and coffee and chocolate flavors
– Billy Jenkins Session Bock – a less malt-forward drink than the traditional German bock
– Tarantula Hawk – an American style, Red IPA
– Moonlight Shine Wheat Ale – an American style wheat ale with hints of vanilla and orange zest.
The Kimbell Social Club will be held at the Pavilion Café and the music is set to begin at 5 p.m. The news release said that the event is presented in partnership with Wild Acre Brewing Company and the Fort Worth Weekly. The Kimbell Social Club will meet on selected Fridays with more live music and happy hours.
