If you liked Jason Aldean’s “1994” which paid homage to many of Joe Diffie’s No. 1 hits, you’d probably be interested to know that Diffie himself is coming to Billy Bob’s Texas Friday, July 11.
Diffie will play at 10:30 p.m. and tickets are available at the website above for $16-$20. He is a Grammy and American Country Music award-winner. A member of the Oklahoma music hall of fame, Diffie has also been a member of the Grand Ole Opry for more than two decades.
“The multi-platinum-selling artist has never slowed down – writing, touring and recording a myriad of projects,” the website stated.
Diffie’s music videos have featured appearances from such names as Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Lee Brice, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban.
“Joe [Diffie] has little to prove at this point in his career, yet he still has a fire in his belly to make good country music.
In addition to his work as a musician, the website says, Diffie is also known for his songwriting, having penned pieces for Tim McGraw, Conway Twitty, Jo Dee Messina and more.
