🕐 1 min read

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (AP) — Police say a performer at a Dallas-area bar has been fatally shot by an attacker who then fled in an SUV.

Grand Prairie police say 21-year-old musician Raul Bustamante was shot around 3 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Los Balones Sports Bar.

Officer Lyle Gensler says nobody has been arrested and police are seeking a motive for the shooting. Gensler says Bustamante, who lived in the Dallas area, performed Saturday night and was later targeted while outside with some other people.

Police say witnesses reported seeing an SUV pull into the lot, someone possibly wearing a mask got out and shot Bustamante. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police had no immediate additional information on the band or Bustamante’s role with the group.
