Performing Arts Fort Worth has announced its 2018-2019 Broadway at the Bass Season at Bass Performance Hall, which is comprised of seven shows, plus two add-on specials.
The series will offer a mix of fan favorites and brand-new, direct from Broadway shows, a news release said. Season ticket packages are on sale now and start at $268.40, which comes out to $38 per show.
Book of Mormon will kick off the 2018-2019 season, which will feature other blockbusters including Jersey Boys; Les Misérables and Fiddler on the Roof. Meanwhile, On Your Feet!, Anastasia and A Bronx Tale are making their Fort Worth debuts. The two add-on specials will be The Illusionists and Cinderella.
“This season, there’s a little something for everyone,” Dione Kennedy, Performing Arts Fort Worth president/CEO, said in the release. “Those who like to see new shows direct from Broadway will love On Your Feet!, A Bronx Tale and The Illusionists.”
“People always ask us to bring back classics and blockbusters, so we’re doing just that with Les Misérables, The Book of Mormon and Jersey Boys, three of the biggest shows we’ve ever had here. Children, especially little princesses, will absolutely love Cinderella,” Kennedy continued. “Audiences of all ages will be inspired by Anastasia’s journey. And Fiddler on the Roof is, of course, one of the most heart-warming, family-friendly shows ever. We can’t wait to bring this new production to the Bass Hall stage.”
