RENT is a re-imagining of Puccini’s opera La Bohème. The story follows a year in the lives of seven artists and their struggles.
Originally premiering off-Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop on Feb. 13, 1996 the show moved over to Broadway on April 29, 1996.
Based on the original direction by Michael Greif, Evan Ensign has restaged the performance for its 20th anniversary tour. Marlies Yearby is the production’s choreographer.
