Rune Bergmann Leads FWSO in University of North Texas concert

Norwegian conductor Rune Bergmann will lead the FWSO in a performance of Beethoven’s Eroica, Flint Juventino Beppe’s Heart, and Brahms’ Violin Concerto featuring Concertmaster Michael Shih Dec. 15 at the Murchison Performing Arts Center, 2100 N. Interstate 35 in Denton.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Bergmann is the Music Director of Canada’s Calgary Philharmonic and Artistic Director & Chief Conductor of Poland’s Szczecin Philharmonic since the 2017/18 and 2016/17 seasons, respectively.

Adult tickets are $25.00 and student tickets are $10.00. There also is an option to park for free at Farrington Field, 1501 University Drive, and ride to Denton in a luxury motor coach for $20 per person. The bus departs at 6:15 p.m. and returns immediately after the concert.
