Christ Chapel Bible Church will be giving eight free performances of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” starting August 17. The tickets for the event will be released starting Friday, July 28.
“As part of the Cultural District, we started doing musicals ten years ago to provide free, quality entertainment to our neighbors,” said the music minister and musical director, Louis Harris, in a news release. “Since then, the experience has grown to be an amazing event we do every two years. We love inviting people to experience live music, dancing and acting in a relaxed, family-friendly environment.”
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang follows the story of a family that is taken on an adventure by a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a magical car. It is family friendly and Tony-nominated. The musical is directed, designed and performed by Christ Chapel members and demonstrates the job and enthusiasm they have for the community and the arts.

“So many people drive past our Fort Worth Campus every day; we love inviting those that may never have been inside Christ chapel to come and enjoy a free show,” said Harris in a news release. “We have an amazing number of talented people right here within our church. It’s a thrill to see them put on a truly spectacular performance.”
