Join Fort Works Art for an exploration of cultural identity titled Out Of Focus –featuring DFW artists Jesse Hernandez and Fabiola Valenzuela.
Through mixed medium representations that showcase Latinx roots, sociopolitics, and personal claims of culture, the shows’ unique installations and multi-faceted work pose a first generation perspective of displacement.
In the upper gallery, My Eyes Are Up Here features figurative artists Katie Stipp and Megan Van Groll will feature artistic revelations of the various aspects of the femininity.
In the FWA satellite gallery, Adam Palmer will show a series of abstract drawings that are vibrant with fine lines of intentional color titled, The Sentimental Circus.
The art will be on display through May 5 and the galleries are free to attend.
