Arts Fifth Avenue will be hosting SceneShop’s 22nd annual summer showcase starting this Saturday at 8 p.m.

The show will be titled “Someone You Know…” and will feature scenes and monologues that are tied together by being someone known in fame, celebrity, notoriety or infamy. The news release said that the scenes will range from silly to serious and from darkly comic to comically dark.

The news release said that this year’s ensemble consists of:

– Steven Cashion

– Nicholas Zebrun

– Raymond Ozuna

– Forrest Swanson

– Straton Rushing

– Mark Makin

– Steven McGaw

– Seth Johnston

The ensemble will be performing new works by Eguia, Rushing, Rob Bosquez, Kyle Irion, Natalie Gaupp, Bob Francis and McGaw. There will also be live music at intermission and before the show. The news release said that pianist Sam K. Carlile will perform on August 5 and Bob Francis’ “Dizzy Willie” ensemble will perform on August 11 and 12.

The Arts Fifth Avenue website says that the performance is not suitable for under high school age children.
