Searching for some way to spend your Sunday evening? This weekend, the 2017 Sunday Cinema Series is presenting Singing in the Rain at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13, at Sundance Square’s Four Day Weekend. Tickets can be purchased at the link above for $10.

“An alternative movie experience in Sundance Square, the Sunday Cinema Series brings the best of classic Hollywood movies, documentaries, foreign films, short films and independent films that you won’t find anywhere else,” the website reads. “Help us make the Sunday Cinema Series a Sunday tradition in Fort Worth.”

Singing in the rain is a musical from 1952 which follows the silent film actress Lina Lamont after talking films come into play. Lamont needs someone to fill in for her “shrill” voice and Kathy Selden will do just fine. Singing sabotage, a love story between Selden and Lamont’s co-star and more, Singing in the Rain continues to be a classic hit and, as the website says, “one of the greatest and most successful musicals ever filmed.
