Southwestern-themed cow statue missing from Houston museum

HOUSTON (AP) — A cow statue decorated with a Southwestern theme has been swiped from outside the Children’s Museum of Houston.

Museum officials on Thursday announced the theft of the Border Bovine sculpture.

Museum workers noticed the brightly colored statue was missing and contacted Houston police.

The statue features images of mountains, the Rio Grande, a longhorn’s skull and cactus. The piece was bolted down next to another cow state that wasn’t taken.
