Sweat for a cause when you participate in the Rodeo Run

The Rodeo Run is a 5K family-friendly fun run benefiting Historic Fort Worth Inc.

The run route starts and finishes at Thistle Hill, Fort Worth’s first landmark and a stewardship property HFW makes available to the public. Thistle Hill is located at 1509 Pennsylvania Ave. in Fort Worth. The route will also encompass many historic buildings in the Fairmount/Magnolia Avenue area.

Race-day registration and check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the race starting promptly at 8:30 a.m.

So get sweaty, drop a few holiday pounds and celebrate Fort Worth’s culture all at the same time.

The run is $30 for all runners except city employees when they register with an access code and their employee ID number. Additionally, Cox Running Club members receive $5 off the 5K registration (please email coxrunningclub@gmail.com for coupon code). Registration for the race day-of will cost $35.

There will be awards for the overall fastest male and female racers. Race results will be chip-timed by Cox Racing Services.
